Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a talented Senior Bid Manager to join our Work Winning team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have experience in the Middle East, be enthusiastic and organised, and have the ability to drive the entire bid process from capture stage to project appointment. They will possess strong people leadership skills and have the ability to work under time pressure and deadlines. An interest in changing the way we win work through digital application is essential.

Responsibilities

- Manages bid-team resources and prioritisation, supervising the bidding team on a daily basis.
- Ensure the effective use of the WW process and tools, for all bids, to optimize the opportunity of winning.
- Facilitate and understand our win strategy and drive this into the bid.
- Facilitate workshops/meetings featured in the WW process.
- Leads and project manages bids and governance through to completion.
- Sets the top-down pricing through benchmarking data and the use of the automated pricing tool, advises on winning price in conjunction with Bid Director and works with technical teams to achieve the price point.
- Manage and maintain all bid documents and send them to the appropriate functions for response/review/signature.
- Ensure a winning, compliant, error free document arrives with the client in the correct format, meeting the deadline.
- Identify and share lessons learned as inputs to the continuous improvement of the WW process and tools.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

- Education level Degree or equivalent, preferably in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum required level of previous experience of 5 years working in a Work Winning / Bid management position in the Middle East D&E Sector.
- Understanding and application of corporate governance including risk profile, cash-flow scope and strategy.
- Miller Heiman/Shipley Bid Management trained an advantage.
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Prezi and Adobe Acrobat InDesign.
- Previous role with a global organisation in professional services would be an advantage.
- People leadership, facilitation, motivation and communication skills.
- Logical and structured approach, strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and work to strict deadlines.
- Quickly able to grasp overall competitive strategy and the details of how to implement it.
- A curiosity and motivation to challenge and improve the way we win work through digital application essential
