Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Our client, a globally recognized pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their company. With operations all over the world, an experienced candidate is required to be part of the team to collect, analyse and document the business functional requirements, in order to propose effective business intelligence and implementation projects. The core part of your role will be to implement new business intelligence solutions and systems for the EMENA region. You will use tools such as SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW), SAP Business Intelligence (SAP BI), SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC), therefore meaning you will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in using these particular systems. You will be required to take complete ownership of these activities by acting independently without any supervision. Your duties will include mapping and documenting the requirements and solutions of the business, producing functional designs, guiding and assisting teams to ensure the solutions are thoroughly tested and coordinating with business users. You will recommend strategies and processes in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the business, by addressing and reporting problems and follow all IT Quality SOPs.

Requirements

In order to apply for this position, candidates must be fluent in English, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in IT and a Post-Graduate Diploma in IT. Candidates with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the use of SAP BI/BW and BPC tools will be considered and you will have at least five years’ experience working within an IT Project Management capacity. You will be systems driven and have the ability to lead and work autonomously without guidance. You must have good verbal and communication skills, high levels of attention to detail and you must be analytical, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
