Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (BIBA)

Job description / Role

The Business Intelligence Business Analyst (BIBA) primarily serves as liaison between the end users and BI project team and gathers business requirements. The BIBA is an expert in understanding business objectives, questions, and problems, and at obtaining and presenting data to address the issues.

The focus of this role is on business acumen, experience in capturing data and reporting requirements from the business, documenting data requirements in the bus matrix, building report and dashboard mock ups, and creating logical data models. We are looking for professionals who have some technical knowledge and experience in data warehousing (Kimball) and reporting (Power BI) as well. You will be responsible for Setting up a Bus Matrix Design.

Requirements

- Demonstrate ability to document solid BI business requirements
- At least 5 - 7 years' proven experience within business intelligence and data warehousing environment
- Demonstrate ability to analyze data
- Ability to identify data elements, business process and dimensions (BUS matrix)
- Demonstrate understanding of data modeling
- Experience in report authoring using a BI Tool
