Senior Buyer - Boys Wear

Job description / Role

Quest Search & Selection is currently looking to hire a dynamic Senior Buyer – Boys Wear to be based in Dubai for a very well-established business. Your key role is to build a Boys Wear range for the business and source product internationally. You will report into the Head of Buying and have full ownership of your category.

Core responsibilities:
• Liaise with Sales Department to forecast timely sales and budget;
• Identify customer preferences and forecasting trends;
• Discover and purchase new products and check the quality and quantity of the stocks;
• Keep good relationship with existing and new suppliers;
• Work closely with the logistics department for a timely arrival of the shipments;
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

Requirements

• 6 – 7 years’ experience as a buyer
• Be a Boys Wear buying specialist and have 4 years plus experience in this category.
• Have global buying and sourcing experience
• Familiarity with market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Strong supply management skills;
• Bachelor’s degree holder
