Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior CAD Technician to join our award-winning team based in Dubai , United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

- Producing fully compliant 3D models of Bridges and other Civil Structures; preparation of deliverables (native and ifc) including data transfer.
- Extracting data from models for coordination purposes. Clash detection checking. Assemble federated models and asset tagging models as required.
- Preparing fully coordinated drawings using international CAD standards; preparation of deliverables (native and pdf).
- Coordinating and assisting the Designer in incorporating markups into the model/drawings.
- Coordinating with other disciplines to support design development.
- Contributing to the effective functioning of the team by identifying and participating in the attainment of team objectives, communicating and sharing knowledge. Mentoring of junior members of the staff.
- Reviewing BIM and CAD models to ensure compliance with international and client standards.
- Assisting with the production of visualization (models views/ sketches) for Structures and other teams.
- Complying with BIM standards, project execution plan and work-flows.
- Producing reinforcement drawings including Bending Bar Schedules.

Requirements

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 6 years of work experience, partnered with Diploma in Drafting or Engineering.

We also require high levels of proficiency in the following:

- Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Modelling and drafting ability for Bridges and civil structures.
- Experience in BIM environment projects is mandatory.
- Experience in full Lvl 2 BIM Projects is advantageous.
- Knowledge in parametric design is advantageous.
- Advanced AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit and B360 are mandatory.
- Navisworks and Bentley AECOSim are desirable.
