Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Senior Commercial Executive - Lacoste is responsible for developing the turnover of assigned brands throughout the region, based on pre-defined objectives and budgets.

Commercial
- Conduct market visits in the region in order to keep all parties informed of key trade and competitor developments
- Prepare the yearly budget (internal) and by season according to the previous season sell out
- Enter all the related orders in the system
- Develop country specific strategies and plans dependant on local market place and the competitive environment
- Liaise with the supplier / client / 3d for any boutique / shop ‘n’ shop or identified corner opening
- Assess monthly the P&L per brand/country insuring profitability
- Ensure that all agents achieve their monthly and annual budgets
- Follow up closely all clients’ accounts in terms of ordering, budgets, stock and retail pricing
- Solve all problems related to the commercial, logistic and marketing side of the assigned brands (goods to be returned, quality problems, payments…)
- Follow up the sales versus targets, versus budget
- Follow up with the account all the outstanding commissions
- Follow up on consultants’ performance, incentives, and bonuses in every country
- Follow up of credit collection and overdue invoices settlement
- Approach new clients, seeks new accounts and quotes special enquiries to ensure dynamic growth of the brands
- Check and maintains high quality merchandising of all outlets and study the market condition, competition and opportunities
- Negotiate current and new proposed point of sales in terms of location, profitability, exposure and market share
- Present the new products and collections to customers
- Cooperate with the Marketing team.

Reporting
- Define a tracking sheet ‘’check-list’’ to be fulfilled and followed up at each visit with the shop manager
- Issue a consolidation report of qualitative info per brand /per supplier /per country
- Issue a monthly sales report per country/agent and commercial line, in order to evaluate and analyse strategies and position of the brand
- Create and updates a ‘’Products Catalogue’’ for the best seller
- Issue an ‘’Activity report‘’ for the supplier
- Issue a seasonal detailed report summarizing the positive and negative points, achievement vs. Budget, ect. including feedback from clients.

Stock Management
- Review stock level with stock control and Division Manager and implement actions accordingly
- Follow up with the area managers to ensure optimization of the stock level usage
- Participate in setting up the purchase plan
- Ensure all team members are following the established procedures of ordering/ transfer…

Marketing
- Coordinate with brand managers and the Marketing Department on the yearly plan suitable for the market and as per the supplier’s calendar
- Develop with the Marketing Manager the yearly calendar and oversee marketing activities implementation
- Recommend to the Marketing team on marketing mix and new openings for shops, and ensure smooth implementation

Requirements

- University Degree in Business or Marketing
- 4+ years of relevant experience

Linguistic Skills:
- English - Excellent
- Arabic and French a plus

Behavioral Competencies:
- Achievement Drive and Initiative, Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, Planning and Organizing

Technical Competencies:
- Commercial Flair, Negotiation Skills, Office Technology (Excel and PowerPoint), Selling Techniques
