Senior Commercial Manager - Roads and Infrastructure - Dubai

Currently working with a Tier 1 contractor in the UAE who is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join their business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business which has been established in the region for over 40 years and employees over 10,000 people.

Client has built up an impressive portfolio of large scale projects right across the Middle East and projects types will typically include Highways, Tunnels and Infrastructure, to name a few.


Main responsibilities will typically include:
• Contractual and commercial advice to board level management
• Claims, change order, dispute and risk management
• Review, drafting and amendment of contractual documents and correspondence
• Review of tender documents
• Liaison with externally appointed specialists and legal consultants
• Liaison with joint venture / consortium partners

Requirements

The successful applicant must be western educated and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering with MRICS and have at least 20 years’ worth of experience in Roads and Infrastructure projects with at least 7 years’ worth of experience in the Middle East. Excellent communication skills and an ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships is also a must.


The position comes with an extremely generous salary package which is negotiable dependent on experience.
