Our client is a forward thinking Tech entity most renowned for developing and strategically enabling international brands, which are mostly first tier fashion icons, in the growing online market within the MENA region.

The Content lead will take on a pivotal role in the management, creation and implementation of online content across social media, blogs, ebooks, website and more for my client. The role will report to the CEO. The Content Lead strategizes, conceptualizes, pitches, drafts, and edits copy across several consumer-facing assets inline with company messaging, business strategy, and marketing goals. But most importantly—you’re the lead writer, responsible for helping ensure the core values and views of the client come across consistently throughout all publications.

Responsibilities
- Write original blog posts, eBooks, and whitepapers with a thoughtful take on themes within the retail space.
- Create and manage an editorial calendar of compelling content ideas to engage both consumers and decision makers.
- Work with our design team to launch long-form content and manage the hosting of our content.
- Prepare original content and intriguing stories in the world of children’s retail.
- Draft copy for webinars, social media, and other marketing team assets.
- Manage content relationships with partners, contributors, and vendors.
- Track content metrics and strategize new channels and methods to continually boost content distribution.

Requirements

- Strong background in writing—preferably in a B2C setting.
- Editing experience and a knack for knowing how to push a piece forward.
- Experienced in managing and publish a project from start to finish
- Skill in planning and meeting deadlines—and in balancing deeply researched projects with quick content wins.
- A quick learner who can gain subject matter expertise.
- Prior online content experience is a must.
- Eagerness to join the fast-paced, demanding culture of a quickly growing Ecommerce company.
- Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects.
- Experience in optimizing content for lead generation and SEO.
