Senior Content Writer

Job description / Role

The Senior Content Researcher & Copywriter (Arabic & English) is responsible for developing compelling, accurate, and culturally relevant content to support the group communications. This role blends research, writing, and editing to produce high-quality materials in both Arabic and English, including executive speeches, reports, press releases, social media posts, newsletters, and event scripts.

The role requires a strong command of bilingual writing, the ability to distil complex information into clear and persuasive messaging, and a keen sensitivity to the cultural and institutional context of the employer.

Research and Content Development
• Conduct in-depth research on healthcare, education, philanthropy, and industry trends to inform executive communications.
• Gather insights and background data for strategy reports, presentations, and media content.
• Ensure all information is accurate, credible, and aligned with the employer's mission and values.
Copywriting (Arabic & English)
• Draft, edit, and proofread bilingual content for speeches, reports, press releases, newsletters, brochures, social media, and campaign messaging.
• Adapt content tone and style for different audiences (stakeholders, academic community, public, media).
• Write scripts and talking points for stakeholders.
• Support content creation for events (ceremonies, conferences, milestone announcements).

Editorial and Quality Control
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency of messaging across all platforms.
• Proofread and edit documents for language, grammar, flow, and style in both Arabic and English.
• Maintain adherence to the employer's brand guidelines, executive tone, and cultural appropriateness.

Collaboration and Workflow
• Partner with designers, videographers, and the wider creative team to align messaging with visual storytelling.
• Work closely with the group and Foundation Marketing to ensure content supports key institutional priorities.
