What you'll be doing
The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for meticulously detailed, engaging, and on-brand copy. With a focus on luxury footwear, accessories, the copy produced should highlight each product's unique attributes, craftsmanship, and brand heritage while aligning with the tone that defines Level Shoes. The Senior Copywriter will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where quick turnarounds and high standards go together.
What you will be doing:
- You will write English product descriptions to the highest standard, adhering to daily targets of 60 products for levelshoes.com, ensuring all copy is consistent and accurate
- You will deliver BAU excellence, maintaining the Level Shoes degree of high quality and the brand tone of voice, confidently working across multiple tools and content formats when required
- You will be proactive in product, brand, and competitor research, staying up to date with industry news
- You will attend relevant brand training sessions and present points of interest back to the team
- You will manage the Junior team focusing on the Copywriting team's workflow, daily deliverables, proofreading, and editing
- You will mentor new members of the team - introducing them to processes and ways of working, ensuring that writing standards are maintained
- You will demonstrate a proactive approach to work, showing initiative and suggesting ideas to continuously improve quality and ways of working
- You will be the point of contact for all studio-related copy queries, effectively communicating and liaising with other departments within the business (including KSA)
- You will support the Content Lead and Manager in ad-hoc projects and requests when required.
Requirements:
- You have 3 years' experience minimum as a copywriter in a luxury fashion e-commerce environment
- You have a strong knowledge and love of fashion at all levels from high-end designers to cutting-edge street style
- You are fluent in English and have an excellent writing style that is accurate, engaging, and adaptable, with an impeccable use of grammar
- You understand accessory construction
- You can work confidently as part of a team and autonomously
- You have excellent time management skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately
- You are comfortable with digital work on an in-house CMS
- You are a strong communicator with the ability to lead and mentor.
