Senior Associate - Corporate focused
US International Law Firm - 7PQE
Dubai Based
Search has recently been assigned a Senior Corporate position in Dubai for a US international law firm.
The role in question, despite being of a senior nature but that does not mean progression is not offered. The client is looking at individuals they can see joining them and thriving under their profile. Suitable candidates will have proven experience operating in an international law firm.
Candidates must be admitted in a recognised common law jurisdiction. This particular point cannot be over stated for this role.
Corporate Lawyer need to be comfortable managing a small team as this will encompass part of your responsibilities. It also needs to be highlighted that this role, despite will eventually leads to Partnership, it is by no means a fast track to it.
Likewise the experience within a law firm must be of high level and high calibre. This should be documented, to some extent, on your application.
Requirements
The role is transactions focused. As such candidates should have experience work in:
- M&A and Joint Ventures
- High level commercial work
- IPO and privatisation work
- Assisting with dedicated due diligence.
- Common Law Admitted
- Prior exp in an International Law firm
This position formulates part of the firm's strategy for the region. As such they are looking for long term commitment and this will be assessed from an early stage.
The salary will be at an International rate for a senior associate. It would be roughly $200,000 - $230,000 plus additional benefits.
