Senior Design Architect

Job description / Role

Randstad is working with an award winning multidisciplinary architecture and engineering consultancy as they are looking for a Senior Design Architect and Design Architect to join their growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high quality design through all phases of the project with a focus on pre concept, concept and schematic design stages.

Key responsibilities:

- Creative concept designs and develop these through detailed design stages inline with client requirements
- Concept presentations to clients
- Modelling skills and proficiency in design software and tools
- Ensure quality and efficiency for assigned tasks and deliverables; maintain high billable efficiency rate
- Assist project teams to ensure delays are adequately documented and mitigated
- Prepare for regular project team meetings/workshops pertaining to project tasks, deliverables, and milestones

Requirements

To be considered for the role, candidates must have:

- Bachelor Degree in Architecture
- 10+ years of experience working on international large scale projects including master planning and architecture
- Strong design consultant experience, not contracting
- Excellent design skills from pre concept stage onwards
- Europe or Asia buildings design experience including residential, hospitality or commercial works
