Senior Design Architect

Job description / Role

Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Architect to lead innovative architectural projects within an architectural consultancy in Dubai. The ideal candidate will harness creative design solutions, manage complex projects, and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver world-class, sustainable architecture that meets clients' visions and specifications. Typical projects sit within the residential space, towers, villa complexes and masterplan communities take up 70% of the current project portfolio.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring creativity, functionality, and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, planners, and clients to integrate design objectives effectively.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and design staff, fostering professional growth and high-quality work standards.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to monitor project progress and adherence to design intent.
- Prepare and present design proposals, drawings, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay current with architectural trends, materials, technologies, and sustainability practices to incorporate innovative solutions.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements while managing risks and obstacles.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve design-related challenges during project execution.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably within consultancy environments.
- Proven expertise in leading complex architectural projects with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity
- Proficient in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage teams and communicate effectively with clients.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects under deadline pressures.
- Fluency in English is required
- Professional architectural license or certification is preferred.
- Middle East experience preferred but not a prerequisite

Salary:
AED 25,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
