The role
Senior Design Manager
Senior design manager to close out the management of all design issues within A, B and C towers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Reporting to the project director and responsible for the complete design management deliverables on a project in Dubai.
• Developing the clients brief, design strategy, procurement and execution of the scheme.
• Organising and chairing design reviews and facilitating the value engineering of design consultants solutions.
• Managing of the material samples and approvals.
• Suggesting for the internal fit-out of the three Mace plots.
• Providing the design Management for the public realm of the district.
• Ensuring a cohesive design management process is adhered to throughout all stages of the scheme.
• Monitoring the compliance with the project brief.
• Monitoring the progress against the project scope.
• Scheduling of design reviews at all gateways and control points.
• Organising and managing technical review team resource and input.
Requirements
Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:
• Experience leading projects from start to finish.
• Hotel/hospitality project experience.
• International project delivery experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Knowledge of project management processes.
Qualifications
• A master and/or degree qualification in an appropriate technical discipline.
