About the role
This role is responsible to lead and optimize campaigns for our lifestyle brands Gymshark, GAP and Mamas & Papas across paid search, social and display platforms.
What you'll be doing
- Feedback and assist in the creation of the overall performance marketing strategy for two major international lifestyle brands with distribution rights across the GCC.
- Responsible for effectively communicating the objectives and management of paid performance campaigns with the assistance of a globally renowned marketing agency on paid search and paid social.
- End to end 360 planning of marketing campaigns as well as the execution and ongoing optimization.
- To be the primary point of contact and coordinate with agencies and third party platforms to optimize paid media campaigns across search, social, retargeting and affiliate marketing.
- Working with the wider e-commerce functions (content, design and trade), ensure that the brands are utilizing the strongest content available across paid media channels through the careful analysis of split testing.
- Working with your trading counterparts, you will be responsible to ensure that campaigns are delivering on key trading objectives and align to the overall marketing strategy.
- Present and assist the head of department on the effectiveness of campaigns and assist in the build and presentation of performance for the benefit of senior leadership.
- Responsible for the day-to-day tracking of budgets and to advise on budget phasing and channel split.
- Remain up to date with the emerging trends and strategies to flex around the digital landscape. Share learnings and findings with the wider team.
- Strong ability to analyze data, spot trends, opportunities, threats and supply insight in a meaningful manner to pivot accordingly.
- Proven ability to track, report and maintain budgets across silo and business as usual campaigns inclusive of cost based media metrics (CPI, CPM, CIR etc.).
- Strong track record of managing agencies and third party platforms.
- Good understanding of affiliate-based marketing.
- Assist in the development of the overall strategy and then execute media campaigns to drive sustainable business growth.
- Constant analysis of performance metrics to optimize campaigns and provide recommendations for performance improvement across the team based on learnings.
- Monitoring commercial KPIs and shifting budgets across channels when needed.
- Weekly reporting of brand and campaign performance to the head of department, trade counterparts and ad hoc senior leadership.
- Delivery of efficient CPI and app engagement focused campaigns to increase our owned audience mix.
- Utilization of Al Tayer's reporting tools (GA360, Adjust, Tableau) to enhance performance and keep all relevant stakeholders informed of performance against business relevant KPIs.
- Managing the relationship of third party agencies and partners as necessary to deliver against goals.
- Implementing and continually testing new creative messaging, landing pages, campaigns and marketing tools.
- Reducing the customer acquisition cost and improving the customer increment rate/return on ad spend.
- Incremental topline gross revenue.
- Suggest implementation opportunities to test new creative messaging, landing pages, campaigns and marketing tools.
About you
- 3+ years of experience in a digital/performance marketing role with a solid understanding of the lifestyle fashion industry.
- Omni marketing, performance/ecommerce digital marketing, multi-channel marketing, brand marketing.
- Executional experience across paid media platforms (Google, TikTok, Meta, Snap) and retargeting (preferred: Criteo and/or RTB House).
- Strong data analytical ability and preferred experience of GA360.
- Exceptional time and workload management. Strong communicator and presentation skills.
- Certifications across Meta and Google advertising or extensive hands-on experience.
- Highly proficient in Google Analytics.
