Wood is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Definition and approval of technical scopes.
• Executing assigned scopes of work.
• Providing technical expertise to the business.
• Contributing to business growth.
• May manage and supervise teams and/or act as a technical specialist.

Performs complex assignments often requiring development of new or improved products, processes, or techniques. Assesses feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering designs, products, and equipment. Uses advanced technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce engineering deliverables including complex problems and to complete any project tasks with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:

• Creating demonstrable value for customers by understanding their drivers and critical success factors.
• Executing technical work for FEED and detail design within designated Cost Time & Resource (CTR) scopes.
• Implementing, practicing, and monitoring the Quality Management System (QMS) in FEED office projects.
• Carrying out appropriate discipline, inter-discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work and contributing to excellent HSE performance throughout the engineering phase of the project life cycle.

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in FEED/engineering and minimum 10 years in oil & gas experience.
• Good communicator with experience in leading small teams.
