Job description / Role
We are currently seeking public health engineering professionals to join our team in Sharjah .
By joining WSP|PB you will be exposed to the full breadth of our Middle East public health engineering profession, helping to deliver the same high standard of comprehensive and integrated building design services that has seen WSP|PB become the UAE’s leading interdisciplinary practice of designers and engineers.
As a Public Heath Engineer, you must have relevant experience in Public Health Engineering design in the building services sector with the ability to clearly communicate with clients, contractors and other design team members alongside producing detailed calculations and proactively ensuring coordination of designed systems with other disciplines and other building structure.
Responsibilities
Experience will be required in both Public Health disposal and supply systems with a proven track record in the successful design and delivery of complex, high quality projects. Ideally, you will have experience with a wide range of sectors and specifically include knowledge in the following areas;
• Underground Drainage including surface water attenuation
• Effluent treatment principles
• Above Ground Drainage systems and sanitation principles
• Rainwater Disposal system design and risk analysis
• A good understanding of Legionella and water quality principles and their application in design and maintenance
• The design of domestic hot and cold water services
• Water treatment
• A good level of understanding of sustainability issues and their impact upon Public Health Engineering Design
• Gas Design
