Senior Estimation Manager

Job description / Role

Taylor Sterling is searching for an experienced Senior Estimation Manager with experience in Landscaping. Our client specialises in hospitality, residential and commercial projects and is responsible for surrounding iconic views across the UAE.

- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for materials, equipment, labour and construction costs
- Build relationships with suppliers
- Develop and oversee scopes of work, review, and analyse quotes ensuring best value
- Site visits and attend bid proposals and conferences
- Present cost estimates to meet client’s expectations
- Prepare scope specifications and requirements, prepare and inputs project schedules, perform quantity takeoffs
- Prepare project bid status reports and ensure compliance with all specifications
- prepare cost summary sheets, and input quantities into estimating software

Requirements

- 7-10 years Related Estimating Experience
- Advanced project estimator skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read, understand and organize construction plans and specifications
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- Strong Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office and estimation software
