Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for the execution of OPEX expenses and purchases for payment, ensuring compliance with policies, processes and internal controls as related to the Accounts Payable and GL areas. The role would be accountable for booking, reporting and monitoring OPEX expenses and liabilities, in compliance with DP policies and procedures and accounting principles.

Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accounting records of the DP payable are properly maintained, supplier payments are prepared on time in line with company policy.
• Prepare supplier payable, advances and Intercompany account reconciliation on monthly basis and to keep record on up-to-date.
• Monitor budget adequacy and book the invoice in line with budget.
• Monitor Utility and Telecom payment on time and have proper record Project and Entity breakup.
• During yearly budget, to support payable manager for the submission of Opex budget.
• Provide year end audit support, which may include research and reconciliation.
• Perform on-going detailed reviews of financial reports, reconciliations and all financial information related to Opex.
• For the month end to support payable manager for closing of books.
• High volume / high value invoice clearance.
• Monitor internal control points for proper signatures, approvals and compliance to company policies.
• Review invoices for proper expense coding and categorization
• Review expense reports for proper distribution, completeness and expenses in accordance with Company policies.
• Screen for certain types of bills that require additional management approval before processing not covered by Standard review guidelines but requested specifically by management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Manage Boulder Sales/Use tax coding and compliance.
• Assist staff accountants with explanations of expenses entered throughout the month

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting & Finance
• Experience in an AP/Accounting Coding function.
• Experience in working on an Oracle ERP platform.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-look-ups, macros, etc).
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Team player with a strong work ethic, outgoing personality and a “can-do” attitude.
• Extremely organized with the ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Very detail orientated.
• Ability to react quickly to changing priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiar with a month-end and quarter-end close process.
