Job description / Role
As a Senior Executive, you will be part of our UAE corporate tax team.
You will assist the Managers and Directors/Partners to provide competent technical advice with a high level of complexity for UAE corporate tax implementation and similar projects. You are expected to demonstrate a pro-active, client-oriented attitude and work towards achieving excellence.
As part of our Tax Team you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners on your client teams, including some of the best known practitioners in their fields.
Roles and Responsibility
• Assist in the deliver technical advice on complex tax matters and transactions
• Assist clients in efficient implementation of UAE Corporate Tax
• Assist in providing tax compliance services
• Build robust business relationships with clients
• Manage various projects and workflows thoroughly and accurately
• Contribute actively to the development of client-oriented cross-border ideas and policies
• Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals
Requirements
• You will have corporate tax advisory and compliance experience, ideally pertaining to cross border businesses. Experience ideally gained within tax reporting, tax accounting and/or tax audit.
• You will need strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, combined with the ability to work as part of a number of client teams.
• You will have good business writing and Excel skills.
• You will have a focus on self-development and on the development of those working with you.
• You will have at least 3-6 years of relevant work experience.
• A professional (tax or accounting) qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA, ADIT, ACCA or equivalent) is necessary.
• An additional postgraduate degree in finance/ taxation is an asset
• Knowledge of the financial sector is considered a substantial advantage
• Good working skills in MS office tools
