Description

Develop and create exhibition design concepts with rationale, mood boards, layouts, and presentations that best match the brief. All designs produced need to be a collaboration with sales and the estimator along with creative input from design peers. All designs need to meet the company standard and have relevance and novelty. The senior designer will need to have knowledge of the technology and be able to plan visitor journeys on an exhibition stand. Strong knowledge of activations, materials, design trends, and structural awareness is appreciated.

Requirements

Senior designers are required to take ownership of the design execution (3D renders, costing documents, material/furniture/lighting specification, sample boards, final presentation, and printing or animation if required) of the assigned project so it aligns with the client brief.
Collaborate with design peers, strategists, graphic designers, estimators, sales, and technical teams in order to create the best solution and presentation for the client.
Adhere to company workflows set by traffic management and design peers to ensure project delivery.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with exemplary project time management.
Work closely with all sections to deliver final designs that meet the target budget assigned on CRM.
Work closely with production on the delivery of the project by assisting with sample boards, final renderings for installation, specification of materials to be used, and quality control of onsite deliverables.
Introduce new methods to the design studio that will enhance the company design offering, while staying current with new trends, materials, and finishing.
Taking structured advice on design from design peers is essential for growth.
Review technical drawings before they go to production.

• Formal qualification in design.
• 5-8 years event/exhibition design, commercial design, architectural, or retail design experience.
