Senior Facilities Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facilities Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance, operation, and optimization of community facilities, ensuring they meet safety standards and provide a high-quality environment for residents. You will play a crucial role in managing projects, leading technical teams, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance facility performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in facilities management or engineering.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems
• Knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, operation, and maintenance
• Experience in energy management and sustainability practices
• Knowledge of UAE local codes, regulations, and standards (ADDC, TAQA)
• Excellent communication skills
• Expertise in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance
• Experience conducting risk assessments
• Proficiency in MS Office and facilities management software
• Experience in managing facilities in commercial, residential, industrial, or hospitality sectors
