Job description / Role
Senior Manager/Facilities Manager - Operations and Projects - Abu Dhabi - ARAB SPEAKING - Leading Ed
Client is a leading educational institution who are looking to appoint an experienced Facilities Manager to manage all facilities services, operations and also small and major projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Handling operational/facilities management and service aspects of the existing facility in addition to all the project management responsibilities for the new campus project
- Responsible for Departmental budgets, 20 contracted staff, project budgets and 4 in house staff
- Supervise and handle daily operational issues and help ensure the smooth running and management of the Operations and Campus Services
- Manage departmental contracts with outsourced partners and service providers/contractors
- Responsible for quality, health and safety
- Act as the Project Manager and representative for Middle East\'s new campus
- Coordinate and liaise with main land developers, Urban Planning Council, architectural firms, engineering firms, construction firms among other government entities
- Sign off on project plans, layouts, invoices and budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Holder in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical)
- 10 years in building management and facilities management and 5 years in project management and construction industry
- Competent in operations, contracts, building management and maintenance
- Good knowledge in operational and capital budgets and accounting
- Solid knowledge in project mangement, construction and contract management
- Very good knowlede of MS office with basic knowlede of AutoCAD
