Senior Facilities Manager - Sport Facilities/Water Park

Our client, a real estate development company in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a Senior Facilities Manager

Job Purpose:
The role will be responsible for the front-line total FM service delivery including the coordination of all FM related matters for operations and events within a diverse range of leisure and hospitality assets. A good knowledge of both hard and soft FM services, along with the measurement and auditing of performance across these services is essential.

Must be comfortable working in a hospitality, Leisure & Entertainment and event environment and associated working hours, communicating with hospitality, Leisure & Entertainment and event operators to meet end user needs.

Responsibilities:
- Leads the management of both hard and soft facilities management services, including FM Service Providers, to maximize the estate and facilities up-time and reduce the number of reactive calls submitted to the help-desk.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders such as, hospitality operators, event managers and the wider company’s organization including asset management, marketing, design, delivery, procurement.
- Effectively plan FM resources for and coordinate events, including the review of plans (installation / emergency / etc.), approving permits, oversight of mobilization, operations and demobilization.
- Ensure security services and resources are efficiently aligned with requirements.
- Carries out quality inspections of the FM services being provided, monitoring the all site components condition including,
operated and tenanted spaces.
- Ensures compliance with all statutory and health and safety requirements, ensuring all operatives (in-house / outsourced / contracted) are inducted and competent to undertake their tasks.
- FM focal point for Venue Management, ensuring the correct documentation is provided in terms of emergency plans (e.g., - Venue Installation Management Plan / Venue Emergency Response Plan), safety and security inspections, certification for material/installation for temporary structure

Requirements

Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in a similar role within the UAE
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or a suitable engineering discipline
- Accredited FM related technical training certifications is an adding Value
- Member of Institute of Workplace & Facilities Management (IWFM) formally BIFM (minimum), member or equivalent membership preferred is an adding Value.
