Employment: Full Time

Due to the ongoing Emiratization policy, our client is looking for a UAE National- Senior Financial Analyst to support Group FP&A team in budgeting, planning and forecasting functions for their business group.

The role is based in Dubai.

* The Senior financial Analyst will be required to support Group FP&A team in developing and implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of the financial planning and reporting function so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner
* Prepares benchmarking reports to compare the companies financial KPIs with leading peers in the building and construction industry in Dubai
* Supports the preparation of reports on profitability for the senior management to ensure achieving the overall strategic direction and for proper action planning
* Assists in development of detailed financial plan and long-range financial forecast in line with the financial strategy and the overall objectives of the business
* Assists in development of quarterly forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheets & Cash flow) in liaison with business heads to facilitate effective financial planning in line with the business plan
* Prepares the budgeting process to ensure accuracy of methodology, projections and calculations generated from the departments and operation committees
* Prepares annual plans and budgets produced by departments and operation committees to ensure they meet cost and profitability targets, whilst being realistic and achievable

Requirements

* UAE National with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent from any top university in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
* 3-5 years' experience in financial planning and forecasting operations, in a large manufacturing, building and construction industry
* Financial analysis and budget planning and development skills
* Effective communication skills
* Data mining, analysis and excellent reporting skills
* Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP
