Senior Financial Analyst

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team.

This role will support and assist the Finance Manager - Shared Services in Management of Corporate liquidity and Cash flows, Shared Services Cost Allocation and Investment Appraisals, Accounting, Analysis & Reporting.

You will be responsible for:
- Preparation, implementation, monitoring and reporting of Shared Services Cost Allocation Framework.
- Monitors liquidity and prepares Weekly Cash Flow Report including comments on major variances in cash balances compared to previous week.
- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and available funds for investment.
- Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions.
- Reporting monthly FX performance.
- Investment Appraisals, Investment Accounting, Investment Analysis and Reporting and management of filing / documentation.
- Support in developing, implementing and ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies & procedures and IFRS.
- Undertake periodical stock audits (on test basis) as and when required.
- Undertake other accountant's work when they go on leave.

Requirements

You'll be a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. You'll be someone with 3 to 5 years of relevant Accounting experience and familiar in using large ERP system (Oracle preferably). You will be knowledgeable of Accounting Principles, i-e GAAP/IFRS, Cash Flow Statements - Direct & Indirect, Banking & Treasury, SOP's & Internal Controls. You will be working independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
