Job description / Role
Robert Half are working with a leading retail group, looking to add to their FPA function.
The Role:
* To support financial planning and analytics in the corporate headquarters.
* Work directly with FP&A lead on budgeting, planning and forecasting exercises across group
* Use solid financial knowledge & business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, & make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, & influence leadership
* Strong advanced working knowledge of MS Excel to work with large data sets (big data), proven experience with analysing large amounts of financial and operational data, with ability to translate it into actionable insights
* Experience in designing, developing, & maintaining reports, dashboards & data visualizations in Power BI / visualization tool
* Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with effective relationship building and ability to influence change and improve process, preparing concise commentary, tailored to various levels of stakeholders
* Well-developed analytical skills, ability to understand the linkages to processes.
* Driving continuous improvement and standardization of processes, including implementation of good practices in the FP&A area
* Work on building industry wise data for benchmarking and standardization purposes
* Keeping up with industry news, trends, and opportunities
Requirements:
The Candidate:
* Relevant Professional certification : CPA, CA, CMA, MBA.
* 6-8 years UAE experience in FP&A including building financial and operational reports/data sets /models
* FMCG / Hospitality industry experience preferred
* Understanding of planning, budgeting, financial statements, financial modelling, creating dashboards and data visualisation in Power BI
* Experience in Power BI, MS Excel is mandatory.
Salary and Benefits:
* AED 25K - 28K, plus family benefits and schooling on offer
