Senior Formwork Design Engineer

Job description / Role

FORMO is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. If you have a strong background in Civil Engineering / design of formwork & shoring systems or and RC concrete structures and have from 5-10 years same experience in GCC

• Perform structural analysis and then produce shop drawings.
• Specialize in steel walers, H20 beams, floor props, and shoring frames.
• Ensure structural elements are analysed in terms of shear, bending moment, deflection, and load capacity checking against allowable as per item tech data sheets .
• Prepare accurate technical shop drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and be able to produce accurate materials list after design is completed.
• The candidate should also be able to check the work of other junior designers & CAD operators ( Draftsmen ) efficiently without failure and coordinate with management for all projects in the tech department where if his work proved to be satisfactory, he will be promoted as Tech
• Manager and sure to grow with the company.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (accredited institution).

Experience:
• Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in structural Formwork design preferably if
• have PERI Or Doka will be an advantage ..
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong command of structural analysis tools such as:
• Finite Element Analysis software
• STAAD III
• TIPO’s or equivalent
• Deep understanding of structural behaviour and system performance load analysis .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with at least 5 years of drafting/design experience.
