Senior Graphic Designer

Job description / Role

The Senior Graphic Designer will serve as the Company’s point of contact for designing and executing printed print and digital marketing materials such as brochures, roll-up banners, event collateral, reports, presentations and assists in the creation of online visuals to support the broader objectives of the Company app. They will propose creative solutions to support and enhance the Company objectives by increasing brand awareness and strengthening brand perception. They will also help create and ensure Company brand guidelines and design concepts are consistently applied to maintain a strong and coherent brand and marketing focus for Company.

Brief job description of the role includes, but not limited to:
• Deliver creative, cutting edge design solutions for a variety of communications materials, including collateral, data visualization, merchandise, graphical identity work applicable to both print and digital, consistent with existing brand guidelines
• Create and communicate project plans and timelines
• Present ideas and status to team members throughout the process
• Work closely with team members to generate creative ideas and concepts, discusses effective solutions, and ensures brand consistency and high standard of creative execution
• Arrange, consult, and manage quotations, process and deliveries with third-party vendors including printing services, photographers, and translators if needed
• Provide design review services to Company community to ensure finished products completed outside the offices are appealing and effective design solutions, and meet Company guidelines
• Assist departments with their communication objectives, and suggest the best kind of collateral that will serve their communication needs
• Ensure the proper use of the Company brand on any collateral representing Company
• Organize photo files and distribute requested images for relevant parties
• Select images from photographers
• Manage media releases
• Assist and support the team with digital design requests when necessary
• Performs other duties, as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability
• Minimum 6 years in a comparable position, preferably with an established international company or design agency in the UAE
• Works well with clients and is receptive to feedback
• Exceptional abilities in design and image processing software and presentation tools;
• Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Lightroom), MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Has understanding of web best practices and production of online creative materials
• Ability to work both independently and with other team members
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to adjust work schedule to complete urgent or time-sensitive projects
• Organized work habits and time management
• Detail oriented, resourceful, and a creative problem-solver
• Fluency in written and spoken English
