Overview

The role involves leading the design process from concept to execution, managing multiple projects, and mentoring junior designers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the company's visual identity.

Key responsibilities

Creative leadership: Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and impactful visuals.

Project oversight: Manage and oversee multiple design projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining brand consistency.

Team mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.

Brand development: Maintain and evolve the company's visual identity and branding across all platforms.

Problem-solving: Develop creative solutions to complex design challenges, considering both aesthetic and functional aspects.

Trend analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques, and apply them to projects to keep designs fresh and relevant.

Quality control: Review and approve design deliverables to ensure they meet company standards and project objectives.

Asset preparation: Prepare and deliver production-ready files for print, digital, or multimedia use.

Strategic contribution: Collaborate in strategy discussions and provide insights to align design work with broader business goals.

Desired experience

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.

5+ years of professional design experience, with a strong portfolio.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, XD, or Figma, along with 3D modeling software and other design tools.

Experience with UI/UX design principles, CGI, and motion graphics is a plus.

Strong creative vision and ability to produce innovative designs.

Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.

Experience leading projects, managing timelines, and collaborating with teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to design details.

Staying current with design trends and new software/tools.

Required expertise

Design software expertise:

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).

3D software (Cinema 4D, Blender, or any package designing modeling software).

UI/UX tools (Figma, Adobe XD).

Print & digital media:

Strong knowledge of print production (CMYK, Pantone, paper types, and printing processes).

Designing for web, social media, email campaigns, and digital advertisements.

3D & packaging design:

Ability to create 3D mockups and packaging designs.

Rendering software knowledge.

Motion graphics & video editing:

Animation and motion design skills using After Effects or similar software.

Video editing experience for promotional material.
