The Role

A well-established local conglomerate group of companies, specializing in hospitality is seeking a Senior Hotel Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Your main role will be providing overall leadership, guidance and direction to the hotel employees as it strives to provide the highest quality in standards and services. You also need to act as a liaison between client and hotel staff and ensuring that the hotel and client financial obligations are met.

Your key accountabilities will include but not limited to:

Planning and organizing accommodation, catering and other hotel services;

Promoting and Marketing the business;

Endorse the Hotel through advertisement, promotional events, and unique offers;

Recruiting, training, monitoring and supervising staff;

Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure;

Maintaining statistical and financial records;

Setting and achieving sales and profit targets;

Planning work schedules for individuals and teams;

Addressing problems and troubleshooting;

Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly;

Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings;

Dealing with contractors and suppliers ;

Ensuring security is effective;

Carrying out inspections of property and services; ;

Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations;


The ideal candidate must be ambitious and eager to take on a new challenging role in a new environment. To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and attributes :

Bachelor’s Degree in Institution Management, Hospitality services, Food and Nutrition, Business Administration or other related field;

5 years’ experience in Hotel specifically knowledge in setting up hotels;

experience with financial practices and budgets;

excellent communications skills in English is a must;

candidates with marketing background will have an advantage;

Proactive and a team leader with a friendly personality;

first-class people skills;

well organized and resourceful;
