Senior HR Business Partner - UAE

EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a leading multinational looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to be based in UAE.

Our client is in need of Senior HR Business Partner to be part of a growing team of HR professionals in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and implementing the Global People Strategy and the Functional HR Strategy of the company as well as other strategic HR initiatives as required. In addition to this, advises and supports the business management across Middle East, Africa, India and Turkey.

Responsibilities would include:
- Providing strategic directions and developing, implementing and monitoring the goals, objectives, priorities and procedures related to all segments within the region
- Providing people and organisational insights to business line leadership for decision-making
- Driving the implementation of effective HR programs - recruitment, people development, compensation and benefits implementation, organisational development and change - in close co-operation with respective corporate functions
- Driving the implementation of global people strategies and deriving appropriate actions for functional HR strategies as well as global or regional HR strategies
- Directing HR-related studies and making recommendations in order to promote maximum efficiency in the utilisation of Human Resources
- Working closely with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and the shared services team to assist in managing employee relations, HR operations, organisational effectiveness, performance management, talent development and total rewards ensuring seamless delivery to the client
- Developing a global and a regional, diverse talent pipeline taking diversity aspects into consideration
- Ensuring quality and adherence to global standards for core HR processes within and across the company
- Providing people and organisational insights to business line leadership for decision-making
- Advising management regarding general HR topics, processes and compliance issues
- Assisting managers in addressing performance issues; providing guidance on effective coaching and counselling to improve performances
- Assisting and guiding the co-ordination of staffing - in co-operation with HR operations – supporting M&A projects from an HR perspective, in accordance with global standards
- Working with leaders to champion the Performance Management Process including: reinforcing the objectives and expected outcomes of the process, training new hires, facilitating all phases of ongoing communication and follow-up training as needed
- Keeping abreast of all employment related laws and ensuring compliances

Requirements

- Masters’ degree in HR or similar discipline (additional certifications preferred)
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in HR preferably within a large multinational environment
