Senior Interior Designer - Delivery Focused

Job description / Role

- Delivery focused Senior Interior designer is required for large scale mixed use hospitality projects in Dubai.
- Responsibility for implementing the project plan and ensuring all items of project deliverables are delivered on time.
- Aiding the Lead Architect with all aspects of design development.
- Shared responsibility for writing, agreeing and updating the brief with the Client/ end user.
- Responsibility for the production of mood boards to aid in identifying the interior style.
- Responsibility for production of the sample boards highlighting main materials, accent details and finishes.
- Responsibility for the production of high quality interior 3D renderings.
- Responsibility for the design development of projects from concept to completion, hands on revit expertise.
- Responsibility for all local authority compliance and code compliance.
- Responsibility for utilising correct design standards
- Responsibility for all technical detailing of a project.
- Responsibility for meeting the brief from an operational, functional and design perspective. Responsibility for writing and collating the interiors control book or specification. Coordination of all sub consultant packages.
- Review of all drawing packages prior to issue.
- Liaising with sub consultants, suppliers and clients to ensure successful project delivery of large scale residential, and hospitality projects.

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years’ working experience in an Architectural Practice
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized international university.
- BIM and Revit expertise
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis.
- Hospitality projects experience.
