Senior iOS Developer

Job description / Role

An innovative and progressive technology company, based in a state-of- the-art facility in Abu Dhabi, have engaged SwissGulf Partners to assist in growing their team rapidly.

Working with a group of talented developers you will be responsible for building and designing the next generation of mobile applications for the iOS platform.

Responsibilities:
• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Work with the product and design team to understand end-user requirements
• Integrate and consume web services (JSON, XML, etc.)
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and have the chance to contribute innovative and original ideas to the company’s technology, algorithms and products
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigm under iOS, memory management, file I/O, network programming, concurrency and multi-threading
• Experience publishing iOS apps in the app store
• Objective-C
• Cocoa
• Xcode
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
