Job description / Role
We are currently recruiting a Senior Software Engineer on behalf of a leading international brand whose headquarters are here in Dubai. Working as part of a design and support team, the Senior Technical Engineer will design, develop, support and deliver robust and cost-effective solutions for both Business and IT led initiatives including solution development, cost estimations, configuration, deployment, Business Case development and approval. Requirements
Applications are sought from those with a minimum 10 years of iOS programming experience. It is essential that you have detailed knowledge and understanding of key iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc. It is essential that you have detailed knowledge and understanding threading and performance tuning of iOS Apps.
Experience integrating iOS applications to back-end services and in-depth understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines are important. Need to have proficient understanding of GIT code versioning tools. Experience working on commercial software products with large user deployments as well as experience with travel related apps is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to explain technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences is required. Should be able to mentor development staff on relevant iOS technologies (Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa, etc).
