Job description / Role
My client is a world renown design studio, with a long-standing reputation of delivering seamless and innovative designs in the Urban sector. Their success has come for a strong background in the field along with a status for providing exceptional products that delight all their clients. With a vision to expand and grow into global markets and with exciting projects coming their way they are immediately requiring an Senior Landscape Architect with on site experience in Dubai, to join their existing team and work on International projects.
Preferred candidates will have experience / expertise in Master Planning, Destination Developments, Parks and other multidisciplinary projects of various sizes and scale
Requirements
• Lead landscape designs from concept design phase through construction documentation / specifications as well as construction oversight
• Play a key role in client management by maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
• Require knowledge and in depth experience with materials and finishes, levels and grading, furniture, lighting, planting, irrigation landscape specifications and local construction methods.
• Able to manage / mentor junior staff
• Possess strong working knowledge of standards and constructability.
• Able to coordinate consultants and other disciplines
• Demonstrates an understanding of the aesthetic and technical components of landscape architecture.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the field of Landscape Design Architecture
• Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Codes, ADA and Zoning requirements that can impact planning and design
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Have excellent client facing, presentation, project management and organizational skills.
