Senior Landscape Architect

Job description / Role

My client, a large multi-disciplinary consultancy requires a Senior Landscape Architect to join the team in Dubai. They have an exciting portfolio of projects and a strong team which fosters creativity.

Project Role & Responsibilities

* Assist projects teams to technically resolve projects during DD and documentation phases.
* Bring their documentation & construction experience to bear in anticipating & proactively solving technical project challenges.
* Work proactively and professionally with external collaborators, consultants, and other project partners
* Works across several teams, rather than embed into a single team.
* Report to the Technical Director & work collaboratively with the practice leadership to implement project standards, benchmarks, and processes around detailing, documentation, and project delivery.
* Ensure full coordination with all technical disciplines.
* Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, working drawings and develops details.
* Works across several teams, rather than embed into a single team.
* Works collaboratively with the practice leadership to implement project standards, benchmarks, and processes around detailing, documentation, and project delivery.
* Ensure full coordination with all technical disciplines.
* Works proactively and professionally with external collaborators, consultants, and other project partners
* Nurtures and supports junior staff.

Requirements

Qualifications

* Bachelor or master's degree in Architecture
* Experience of working in a recognized global/ design offices
* 10+ years of post-degree professional practice and wide regional experience.
* Knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements, knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements.
* Developed knowledge of Fire & Life Safety Principles.
* Developed knowledge of Sustainable Design principles. (Estidama, Leed, Greenbuilding Etc.)
* Proficient in BIM Software and other computer design programs including Revit, 3DMax, AutoCad, Lumion and Photoshop
