Senior landscape architect

WSP is seeking a talented landscape architect with exceptional conceptual, hand, and digital drawing skills to join our growing team. The successful candidate will contribute to landscape planning across diverse scales while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and sustainable design outcomes.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality conceptual designs through both hand-drawn and digital sketching techniques.
• Contribute to urban planning and landscape architecture projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project briefs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, planners, and environmental specialists, to integrate landscape design seamlessly into larger development projects.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and processes within the landscape architecture industry.
• Deliver creative, practical, and cost-effective design solutions in collaboration with project teams.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, translating these into compelling design outcomes.
• Optimize designs for constructability and cost-effectiveness while maintaining a high design standard.
• Support the delivery of landscape projects that align with WSP's sustainability and design excellence objectives.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• Proven experience in landscape architecture, planning, and design within a design consultancy environment.
• Exceptional artistic talent with strong hand-drawing and digital sketching skills.
• Proficiency in conceptual design, manual drafting, and relevant digital tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
