Job description / Role
• To provide high level legal counsel to the company and its subsidiaries as well as support external client processes and ensure compliance with relevant technical contracts related legal regulations.
• Manage your legal team and work closely with the contracts team, overseeing their work

Description
• Prepare memorandum and articles of associations, board resolutions and shareholders resolution
• Draft, review and negotiate various types of corporate and commercial contracts such as NDA's, joint ventures, MOU's,real estate contracts, sale & purchase agreements, licensing agreements, bonds, project agreements, credit agreements, labour contracts, lease, distribution, shipping, franchise and supply agreements, etc
• Corporate matters such as M&A's, establishing new companies
• Delegate and cooperate with the internal and external team in settling all disputes, litigations etc
• Prepare Legal & Contracts Department's policy & procedures
Job Offer
• Head the department for this organisation, and partner closely with the government sector and other senior stakeholders
Requirements
Candidates who apply must meet all of the below criteria:
• Licensed lawyer with 10 years post qualifying experience
• Experience working in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, Energy, Aviation, Shipping industries
• Understanding of a 'customer centric' environment - experience adapting to client contracts and negotiating foreign agreements
• Knowledge of UAE laws
