Job description / Role
Charterhouse is currently instructed by a company with a diverse portfolio of businesses and investments that is looking to hire a senior corporate and commercial legal with c.6 - 8 years experience to work closely with the executive management in relation to managing the legal and corporate governance aspects of the company's activities and investments.
The role will involve working with senior individuals in the business in relation to strategic matters, transactions and agreements. The business is interested in a Common Law qualified lawyer. Arabic language skills are advantageous but not required. The role will be based in the companys Sharjah headquarters.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a qualified solicitor with experience of corporate and commercial legal work, ideally gained from working in-house and with a recognised law firm. The business and its subsidiaries / investment vehicles are well established in the UAE, the wider Middle East and beyond, with a broad range of businesses, enterprises and commercial offerings in a range of sectors.
