About the role
We are looking for a bright , ambitious and highly- organized senior legal counsel who will report directly to the General Counsel and assist in further building out the legal function at Careem.
Key responsibilities
- Leading contractual negotiations
- Building internal legal processes
- Structuring the launch of new markets /business lines from legal perspective
- Identifying and mitigating legal risks within the business
Requirements
Requirements
- Law degree from a top international university
- Fluent in English (both oral and written)
- At least 6 years' experience as a lawyer
- At least 3 years' experience at an international law firm
- Corporate, commercial or finance experience preferred but not required
- The ability to prioritize and multi-task, particularly when working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy
- Willingness to work beyond core business hours to meet expectations
Location
Dubai, UAE with possibility of some regional travel.
