This Senior Legal Counsel position requires a motivated individual with a deep understanding of legal requirements in the hospitality sector

Our client is a well-established, internationally renowned hotel group. With a strong presence in Dubai, they are now looking to expand further across the Middle East region and seeking a senior legal hire to assist

Description

* Provide expert legal advice on hotel management agreements, Brand/trademark licensing, and related commercial matters.
* Oversee and manage real estate acquisition processes, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements, including leases, joint ventures, service agreements, and development contracts.
* Advise on corporate governance and ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
* Support cross-functional teams with legal input on hospitality-related projects and business initiatives.
* Manage relationships with external counsel and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives efficiently.
* Stay informed on legislative changes and industry trends affecting the hospitality and real estate sectors.
* Assist in resolving disputes and managing litigation related to real estate and hospitality operations.

* Qualified lawyer, preferably UK-qualified.
* 8- 10 years PQE, with significant experience in hospitality and real estate law.
* Proven track record in hotel management agreements and real estate acquisition.
* Strong understanding of legal frameworks related to the hospitality and real estate industries.
* Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and actionable legal advice to senior management.
