Job description / Role
Senior role with a diversified multinational group, this hire will be the most senior lawyer in the region and will report to a Global GC in Europe.
Client Details
This is a diversified group with various entities under their umbrella, and a presence across the globe. Although not the largest company in terms of headcount, they have a prominent name in the market.
Their Middle Eastern presence is strong, and they are seeking a lawyer who can lead the ME legal team in order to free up the time of the GC in Europe for more strategic duties.
Description
* Lead role in all corporate transactions
* Day to day commercial contracts (employment etc)
* Management of a team of 3 junior legal professionals
* Dispute management along with external counsel as and when required
* Over time this hire will also be expected to get more involved in strategic decision making

Requirements
The ideal candidate would posses the following profile:
* At least 6 years of experience in a transactional corporate role
* Private Practice background complimented by recent inhouse experience
* Multinational experience
* Full fluency in Arabic

Ideally this candidate should not be too senior, as we are seeking someone who can grow into the Head of Legal position as they become accustomed to the business and the work.
