Senior Manager

Job description / Role

Brief Job Responsibilities:

* Project management in setting up of new schools in UAE and the region
* Oversee and ensure smooth school operations in UAE and the region
* Formulate annual country plans in close coordination/collaboration with the Regional Head
* Develop and achieve business development/student growth targets for schools in UAE and the region.
* Liaise with relevant government departments in UAE and the region for ensuring compliance with prevalent rules and regulations.
* Manage and oversee acquisitions in line with company objectives.
* Manage company properties, from acquisition to commercialization/licensing to vacancy and amicable resolution of issues between regions and landlords, keeping in view company objectives.
* Ensure that the control of expenditure and disbursement of resources are in accordance with established procedures and maintain financial and legal integrity of the organisation.
* Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and programme improvement.
* Provide progress and financial reports as required by the management.
* Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with all new projects approved annually.
* Oversee acquisition, extension and termination of work visas, permits, etc.
* Overall management of corporate and legal affairs.
* Support relevant school staff in the implementation of various School Improvement Plans in coordination with the Senior Manager, Academics.
* Devise strategies, monitor and maintain quality standards of all support functions such as marketing, administration, finance, health and safety, etc.
* Identify business and expansion opportunities, existing and potential;
* Actively identify and build prospective relationships.
* Develop and maintain relationships / PR / Liaison with key stakeholders in the education sector, especially regulators and ministries in UAE and the region
* Develop and oversee marketing initiatives and provide feedback
* Assist in planning, preparing and delivering presentations to potential business partners and/or stakeholders;
* Analyse potential business proposals in line with company strategy and financial viability.
* Stay appropriately networked and stay updated on market trends, news, events and deadlines, so that all possible, new or enhanced business opportunities are exploited

In return, you will receive 18,000 - 20,000 AED per month DOE + Company benefits
