Job description / Role
A senior to middle level management role exists with a Financial Services entity based in Dubai.
The key responsibility of this role will be to manage and administer the brand, corporate communication (both external and internal), CSR, Social Media, and Stakeholder Engagement strategy and plan.
The selected candidate will develop the brand strategy and develop the plan, approach, tactics, tools and media for end to end execution and ensure implementation of the same.
Additionally, develop the external communication strategy, manage key media relationships, edit press releases and write ups, both in English and Arabic. Consult with management and advertising agencies to arrange promotional campaigns. Ensure the timely production of effective communications materials, including corporate literature, media releases, newsletters and annual reports and reviews. Develop measuring mechanism to understand effectiveness of communication efforts. Develop the CSR strategy by identifying and mobilizing various CSR initiatives and facilitate the participation of employees in CSR programs.
Requirements
The job holder should be an Emarati national with min Bachelor’s degree and with 10 years’ experience, out of which at least 5 years should be in a senior management role in communications or marketing in a government or semi-government entity or financial services sector.
Should have experience in developing strategies and implementing them. Possess sound working experience in the management and administration of media, internet, intranet, social media and crisis management plans.
Experience in running a CSR program, handling of conference organizers, advertising and publishing agencies are also critical components of the role. Highly developed writing & presentation skills in both English and Arabic, good networking acumen and the ability to work to tight deadlines are other personal attributes required to effectively handle the role.
