Senior Manager, Digital Banking UAE

To support Retail Clients business in delivery of budgeted revenue targets by driving innovation and digitization leading to increased productivity, higher revenues and decrease in cost.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Mandates and activities

Strategy and Franchise Development
* Assist in driving 99% of the transaction volume via digital channels to ensure UAE leads across the industry.
* Support the launch of digital initiatives.
* Oversee the delivery of Retail Workbench initiatives and drive adoption to 80%
* Oversee the delivery of Online / Mobile initiatives and drive 75% customer adoption
* Drive 50 % efficiency in processing rejects and reworks by driving bureau/scoring integrations and manual processing reduction leading to potential headcount saves.
* Managing the day to day governance and reporting requirements to support the digital business. This includes highlighting new functionality requirements and implementing them

Retail Products Performance Management
* Support digital sales & deliver enablers to drive 30% contribution to overall sales volume
* Drive 75% Digital penetration & 45% mobile penetration in the client base to ensure UAE leads in this space across the group and industry
* Build staff penetration on digital channels towards 99%
* Manage existing channels and ensure BAU activities are run and executed in an improved and consistent manner.
* Work on initiatives to transform the customer's experience by launching initiatives that effectively cater to the clients digital banking needs
* Supporting the launch of Wallets & remittance propositions being launched on digital channels.

Compliance and Control
* Ensure that compliance, OR and other required approvals are sought before any new functionality / product launch.
* Ensure Control Standards are adhered to and all reviews are conducted at the required intervals.

Processes
* Support all processes where a member of the function is the identified process owner
* Continuously improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes
* Support effective management of operational risks within the function and compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations
* Work with the digital head to remove blockages and ensure the team operates across segments/product/distribution and effectively with other parts of the Group.

Requirements

Knowledge
* In-depth understanding of key business drivers
* Demonstrated people management skills and experience with a strong focus on building a robust control environment.
* Communication and presentation skills in order to influence senior stakeholders outside the incumbent's sphere of control.
* Thought Leadership in digital banking with appreciation of industry products and developments
* Deep understanding of Digital banking business & trends.

Personal
* High analytical and problem solving ability gained through professional & practical experience.
* Project management skills ranging from project planning to implementation.
* Ability to lead and manage people towards execution of digital main bank strategy.
* Ability to lead and grow the business to deliver exceptional results.
