Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently hiring for a professional with background in legal and contracts discipline, candidate will be accountable to manage internal stakeholder relationships to achieve corporate objectives and establish business relationship with key vendors that will benefit Etisalat & promote sustainable sourcing. Ensure the final agreement, before the deliver to vendor, is enforceable and the KPIs/KPOs, technical specifications, legal terms and commercial are aligned to Etisalat business objectives and requirements. Develop the Category Strategy Plan for ED categories. Empower a sustainable sourcing by leveraging on strategic relationship with vendors. Negotiate sourcing model that reduce cash flow exposure and working capital. Ensure back to back with customer contracts. Gaining a competitive advantage by having best price in the market place.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up priorities on day-to-day activities with a sense of urgency and able to operate effectively in a changing environment according to the business priorities and objectives set by Contracts’ senior management.

Monitor compliance to the sourcing/contracts policies: accountable for contract database and reports with information on contractual terms, timeliness and contracts/financial achievement.

Participate in tender evaluation committee being the subject matter expert in developing the negotiation strategy and in leading the commercial negotiation in alignment with the negotiation targets agreed.

Develop deep relationship with key vendors/clients to be the vendor/client’s most valuable customer/vendor through recurring meeting with the vendors/customers.

Conduct category cost benchmarking, market analysis and modelling to develop strategic sourcing/category management initiatives that optimizes the leverage of Etisalat buying power in coordination with the relevant stakeholders.

Execute negotiation strategy aligned with the pre-agreed targets by leveraging on knowledge of vendors’ performance, commercial buying power cross-category and on strategic relationship with the vendor.

Research vendors’ capabilities and identify list of preferred vendors; identify vendor-related risks and develop mitigation strategy.

Supporting the creation of the fact based negotiation methodology to ensure fairness and transparency in the bidders’ evaluation.

Build close relationship at required levels with the internal stakeholders and the vendors

Conduct recurring meeting with stakeholders to get alignment on their business priority, opportunities and sharing information.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Law, Business or similar bachelor degree or comparable professional experience for the role

Applicants with MCIPS, CPSM, IACCM certification will be given an added advantage.

4-5 years’ experience preferably in telecommunication or technology industry in similar capacity.
