Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Develop, review and implement process and procedures for employee performance appraisal in line with company strategy to ensure the company achieves the set goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement appropriate means and timely measures for communicating information related to performance management to ensure consistency in the means of communication and application as per the schedule to the business units.
- Prepare and deliver workshops and orientations on employee performance management systems, forms, workflows and standards, to ensure that all employees are well aware of the system, procedure and standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert and support the LM and employee in their dispute on performance issues (ratings, objective settings etc.) by providing professional advice and appropriate guidance for efficient, fair & satisfactory resolution of the same in line with policies procedures and undertake suitable measures for avoiding the future disputes.
- Lead and manage the compensation, benefits and manpower plan and implementation in line with the Company policies / regulations and international standards to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the compensation & benefits function to ensure fair remuneration to employees and optimum utilization of the manpower as per the business needs.
- Develop the organization compensation policy regarding salaries, allowances, incentives, fixed and variable bonuses as well as the organization benefits and welfare plans to ensure fair and consistency of practice in this area.
- Develop and ensure a comprehensive database of updated job descriptions is maintained and apply appropriate job evaluation system to determine the relative importance of jobs and assign a suitable job grade for every position at all times to ensure all jobs in the Company has evaluated job descriptions in line with approved organization structure.
- Lead the preparation, consolidation and obtaining the approval of Annual HR Budget, in collaboration of Management members and other stakeholders and on obtaining the approval monitor the number of positions created in the system and the cost incurred against the budgeted positions.
- Prepare the annual compensation and benefits plans together with the right budgets and determine the actual cost personnel. Propose the annual salary increase together with the relevant cost subject to review and approval of upper management.
- Manage the conduct of regular and periodical salary and benefits survey with comparable organizations in the market in order to assess the organization pay level in comparison with similar companies on the market and work closely with the Section Head in developing an appropriate salary structure and sound salary administration process in the right method to link salary to performance.
- Ensure Employee satisfaction survey is conducted periodically and study the survey reports to recommend action plans for the improvement of shortfall areas and ensure efficient implementation of action plans within concerned departments to close the gaps.
- Conduct benchmarking analysis of compensation and benefits practices and provide inputs and suggestions for the continuous improvement of practices taking into account “international best practice”, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans in line with company objectives.

Requirements

- 10 years’ work experience in HR at least 5 years in the same area (PM and C&B) & 5 years in a managerial role.
- Graduate in any discipline preferably in Human Resources Management/Business Management (Post Graduate or Master in HR preferred)
- Knowledge of Performance Management process and methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of Compensation and Benefits methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills, good understanding of various business processes and their interface, Strong presentation and communication skills in English, good strategic and problem solving skills. Interpersonal and influencing skills.
