Job description / Role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work with an incredible organisation that is involved in leading festivals, exhibitions, international programs and presenting the culture of the Middle East for the rest of the world.
This role will require someone who has a keen interest in Art, National Galleries, Exhibitions and Archives with a focus on Arabic history, art and wants to use their knowledge and experience to lead and execute a variety of events within the UAE. You will have previous experience in managing, developing and overseeing extensive art collections, exhibition programs, has worked with National galleries and archives with the ultimate goal to strengthen the arts and entertainment sector. Contributing to concepts, budgeting, implementation of marketing, workshops, VIP tours and networking events will also be key attributes required for this role.
The ideal candidate for this role will be Degree educated with 4-6 years relevant work experience in research, development of an event or arts organisation with a visual arts background in either Art History, Museology, Design or Cultural Studies. Familiarity with Arab culture would be a distinct advantage.
