Senior Marketing Manager

Job description / Role

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns. They will be expected to work independently, demonstrate a very good understand of digital marketing tactics and data segmentation and analysis. The Senior Marketing Manager can have more than one resource reporting directly into them.

- Develop a well thought out marketing campaign for exhibitor, speaker, delegate and visitor acquisition.
- Carefully manage spend on the allocated budget, ensure costs are controlled and due process is followed.
- Implement as part of the marketing campaign a smart digital strategy to generate leads, create brand awareness and drive visitor registrations.
- Work with the digital team to create and maintain a user friendly website and ensure all company wide data protection policies are adhered to.
- Work with your marketing support team to identify and work with relevant partners, be that media, associations or government bodies.
- Appoint (where required) and manage third party suppliers such as PR agencies, print and mail houses, digital marketing agencies, registration companies etc.
- Identify with your assigned mentor (specific to a Snr MM) a marketing related topic in which you will become and expert and accordingly share across the business
- Share successes and challenges with peers across the business and participate in group wide marketing initiatives such as hosting the fortnightly ‘coffee mornings’

Requirements

Minimum Experience: 3+ years in event marketing

Job-Specific Skills: Very good to excellent knowledge of digital marketing and data segmentation

Behavioural Competencies: Positive, proactive, adaptable, decisive, committed, independent
